I put a lot of importance on getting client inputs to develop the perfect product. But...
You have to carefully filter those inputs.
Sometimes it's just impossible to fulfill a client's needs. And their needs can make no sense.
This reminds me of a prospect.
He wanted only leads of companies willing to work with recruitment agencies. 🤔
I couldn't provide this. It was technically not possible to know.
I was tempted to say "sure, 100%.” with no clue on how to do that.
Instead, I told him the truth and didn't convert him.
First, I thought I HAD to solve his problem!
But his input wasn't something we could technically solve and it was actually his sales job to manage this objection.
User inputs? Yes.
Filtering them? Absolutely essential.
